A Mishmash of Thoughts

When the course staff said that we'd have to write blog posts as part of our assignments,  I had no idea what to write. As of the moment of writing this, I still have no idea what to write. What that does mean, however, is that you all have the unenviable pleasure of bearing witness to what can only be described as a mishmash of potentially tangentially related thoughts.

  • How is it that with literally nothing else but school work to do I have somehow managed to eclipse my pre-pandemic degeneracy?
  • Though extremely (and unexpectedly) generous of MIT to provide free meals for those on campus, it has served as a very strong reminder of why I initially came off the meal plan.
  • It really would be a crying shame for humanity (especially the US administration) to make it through this pandemic and learn absolutely nothing about how to act in such a crisis.
  • With friends now in several different time zones, I maintain that universal time ought to be a thing. The fact that two children can be born at the same moment in time but be different ages due to being born in different places is a tad ridiculous.
  • Netflix is a trap and should be avoided at all costs (says the one who broke his own rule).
Blog posts are hard, but only time will tell if it becomes easier with the next three.
