Hey Everyone,
I feel that March was the fastest month I've ever lived in. Everything escalated quickly but I am doing well now and hope that all of you are now settled back home. With all that is going on, it has been quite tragic starting classes online. The participation and engagement is not the same for 20.109 but I understand that both students and teachers are trying to deal with this situation the best way possible. I was looking forward on the hands on approach in this class but given the circumstances, that is not achievable. This has made the material a bit harder since I am a hands on type of person. Additionally, this past week, I felt that the lectures and lab tasks were not in sync. I feel that the material presented on Thursday by the Professor could have been helpful on Tuesday. Especially when it came to understanding the connection it had on our R assignment. I feel that two days of lighting R lectures and pages of code instructions are not helpful in grasping this language for the few assignments we have to do in it.
Overall, it was going smooth until COVID-19 decided to join. I hope we can make the best out of what is left of the semester and 20.109, It is what it is.
